Here at Kanell Restaurant, we have created a beautiful Apsara theatre to enjoy a unique and traditional dance show in Siem Reap. Alongside the stunning performance, you’ll also have a delicious set menu which also features traditional Cambodian cuisine. The menu has been prepared by the famous Kimsan twins who are the head chefs at Embassy Restaurant – known for it’s fine dining experience in King’s Road, Siem Reap.

The Apsara dance is the national dance of Cambodia. But it’s only one of the performances you’ll see at Kanell. You’ll get to experience the Praying Mantis Dance, the Peacock of Pailin Dance, the Bokator Fighting Preparation ceremony and other special performances which you won’t see anywhere else in town.

Kanell restaurant is a famous place and has been open for years. It has wowed local and international visitors with its great food and beautiful gardens. Nowadays, Kanell has transformed, improved, and upgraded to meet the needs of the modern tourist. We offer an exclusive dinner show, in a magnificent surrounding with palm trees and a traditional Cambodian house. You will get to experience the real Cambodian countryside right in the heart of Siem Reap town.

This exclusive show will ensure that you’re entertained from start to finish. You will see the traditional Bokator preparation for a fight and the ancestral Apsara dance show.

Kanell is located in the heart of town and we’ve ensured that the surroundings are luxurious and beautiful. When you enter the property, you will be greeted by our waiting staff at the bottom of our traditional Cambodian house.

You’ll take a short walk through our gardens to the main part of our restaurant. The seating has been arranged so that everyone gets to see the whole show without missing a single thing.

Enjoy a traditional feast fit for a king at Kanell restaurant. Our menu has been specifically created by the head chefs at Embassy Restaurant – famous for its fine dining experience. You can enjoy dishes which have been specifically created for international visitors and sourced from the finest local suppliers.

We ensure that all ingredients used in our food are sourced locally and meet our high standards. Each dish has been created using local recipes but tailored to the international visitor. Our chefs have many years of experience and know exactly how to prepare a meal fit for the king!

We also have an international drinks list with local and international beers and spirits. We have an extensive wine list to accompany your food. Our wines include French, old continent and new continent options. We also have a range of fruit juices and soft drinks.
