Day1:Cycling & Floating Village Tour and Smile of Angkor Show ( Please note: This is the Join-in tour, Group size 1 to 9 pax)

LET’S GET OUT OF SIEM REAP FOR THE DAY!

We created our 1-day trip because we think there are not enough options for visitors to explore our beautiful region. Not only we’ll take you to Kompong Khleang, a community-owned floating village that kept its authenticity, but we’ll also take you for lunch with friendly locals and cycling around Siem Reap’s stunning countryside.

Tour Itinerary

This adventurous Join-in day tour will take you out of Siem Reap City for a day in rural Cambodia. This is a small group join in tour led by an expert Triple A Adventures tour guide.      We will pick you up from your accommodation at 8am once we get out of the city we will hop on a bike and ride on the red dirt tracks through the stunning countryside. You will be passing rice fields and small villages. On our way, we stop by the local fish market where you can watch traditional Khmer daily fish trading. After the ride, we take a small break to get a refreshing and well-deserved drink.    We will board a boat to Kompong Khleang, the area’s largest and most authentic floating village. We will enjoy a Cambodian lunch with friendly locals in a stilted village house. After lunch, we get back onboard our boat to reach a pagoda located on an island. We will pass by the monk school and watch the monks in their day-to-day routine. Then we’ll head to the Vietnamese floating village. The Vietnamese village is not like the rest of Kompong Khleang, in that it is not composed of stilt houses. The houses there are built on floating objects and therefore float on the lake. The village moves along the river (and sometimes up to the lake) according to the season. You’ll get to see the floating school, hospital and local shops (they even have a floating hairdresser!)

We will make pick up between 08:00 am and arrive back into Siem Reap at about 04:30 pm, after will pick you up at 05:30 pm for Smile Of Angkor show.

This show will let you experience of combination of computer animation and visual/sound effects, bringing you an good impression. The show is 70 minutes long and is divided into six chapters: “Dialogue with God”, “Glorious Kingdom”, “Resurrection of the Gods”, “Churning the Sea of Milk”, “Prayer for Life and “Smile of Angkor”. Besides that, buffet dinner is always available for attendants before the show starts.

Day 2:Angkor Sunrise Tour ( Please note: This is the Join-in tour, Group size 1 to 17 pax)

Watching a sunrise or sunset is a must.

An early morning start for those looking to catch the sunrise over the temples. On a clear morning this is a truly spectacular sight. Then Spend a half day temple-hopping with your local guide to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, built between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer empire was the pre-eminent influence in South-East Asia. The ruins are scattered over an area of some 160 square kilometers, but the main cluster of temples is close to Siem Reap so you'll have plenty of time to fully appreciate the great archaeological sites. These include Angkor Wat, the Bayon and the jungle-covered Ta Prohm. The temples were believed to represent the cosmic world and were set in perfect balance, symmetry and composition. The intricately carved bas-reliefs and architectural designs are mind-blowing and there are spectacular photographic opportunities at any time of day.

Angkor Wat, the largest and most complete structure, and the only one of Angkor's temples that has its entrance facing west – the others face east. Then there is Bayon temple is the centerpiece, with over 200 smiling carved faces and more than 50 gothic towers. You’ll also visit Ta Prohm temple, where nature has taken over again and large trees are embedded in the stone foundations of the structure.

Note: Pick-up will make between 4:00 am till 5:00am and the tour finish around 12pm. After that is your free time.
