Day1:Small Tour( Please note: This is the Join-in tour, Group size 1 to 17 pax)

Spend a full day temple-hopping with our local guide to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, built between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer empire was the pre-eminent influence in South-East Asia. The ruins are scattered over an area of some 160 square kilometres, but the main cluster of temples is close to Siem Reap so you'll have plenty of time to fully appreciate the great archaeological sites. These include Angkor Wat,       Ta Prohm(the jungle temple made famous when Tomb Raider was filmed there) the Bayon, South Gate and the jungle-covered. The temples were believed to represent the cosmic world and were set in perfect balance, symmetry and composition. The intricately carved bas-reliefs and architectural designs are mind-blowing and there are spectacular photographic opportunities at any time of day - watching sunset at Bakheng Mountain Hill is a must.

Angkor Wat, the largest and most complete structure, and the only one of Angkor's temples that has its entrance facing west – the others face east. You’ll also visit Ta Prohm temple, where nature has taken over again and large trees are embedded in the stone foundations of the structure. Then there is Angkor Thom, the 'Great Royal City', a temple that is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Of all the temples visited, Bayon temple is the centrepiece, with over 200 smiling carved faces and more than 50 gothic towers. And the last stop is  the Sunset at Bakheng Hill.

Noted: For the Small Tour we will pick you up between 07:40 am to 08:30 am and finish around 06:30 pm.

While the Angkor temple city is the most popular of Siem Reap activities, no visit to Siem Reap is complete without getting to know the true Cambodian countryside and life the shadow of Angkor Wat. Besides truly spectacular rides on the back of your comfortable Vespa you will meet Cambodians and learn how they make a living in the countryside. You will not see many tourists around, because this tour is authentic and off the beaten path.

This day in Siem Reap will be full of activities aimed at giving you insights into the extraordinary daily life in rural Cambodia. The events vary from witnessing the amazing gathering of Sugar Palm juice, to seeing and tasting collections of exotic fruits & foods at a lively local market, and from spiritual blessing to a peek into your future – Khmer style. Meeting Cambodians throughout the tour at each special stop will leave you with a different outlook on this truly special country than when you arrived.

Being at the historic heart of Cambodia on this tour we also invite you to visit and experience one of the most intriguing remnants of the Khmer Empire, where a remarkable temple restoration is ongoing. While zooming around the countryside on Vespa scooters you will enjoy a refreshing breeze until we arrive at our own l private and lovely farm side picnic spot. Here you will enjoy a fine local lunch with a great view of beautiful rice paddies, while soaking up the countryside surroundings and sipping on some cold drinks. The Countryside Life Tour ends with a ride on Vespas back to your hotel or another drop-off location of your choice.

We offer an exclusive dinner show, in a magnificent surrounding with palm trees and a traditional Cambodian house. You will get to experience the real Cambodian countryside right in the heart of Siem Reap town.

This exclusive show will ensure that you’re entertained from start to finish. You will see the traditional Bokator preparation for a fight and the ancestral Apsara dance show.

Kanell is located in the heart of town and we’ve ensured that the surroundings are luxurious and beautiful. When you enter the property, you will be greeted by our waiting staff at the bottom of our traditional Cambodian house.

You’ll take a short walk through our gardens to the main part of our restaurant. The seating has been arranged so that everyone gets to see the whole show without missing a single thing.
