Sua s'dei! Welcome to Siem Reap,Cambodia.
Travel to Cambodia and encounter the cultural and architectural riches of this ancient land. Siem reap small but expanding town of Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor. This is the most popular destination for travellers in all of Cambodia, perhaps even in South-East Asia.
Spend a full day temple-hopping with our local guide to make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor complex, built between the 9th and 13th centuries when the Khmer empire was the pre-eminent influence in South-East Asia. The ruins are scattered over an area of some 160 square kilometres, but the main cluster of temples is close to Siem Reap so you'll have plenty of time to fully appreciate the great archaeological sites. These include Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm(the jungle temple made famous when Tomb Raider was filmed there) the Bayon, South Gate and the jungle-covered. The temples were believed to represent the cosmic world and were set in perfect balance, symmetry and composition. The intricately carved bas-reliefs and architectural designs are mind-blowing and there are spectacular photographic opportunities at any time of day - watching sunset at Bakheng Mountain Hill is a must.
Angkor Wat, the largest and most complete structure, and the only one of Angkor's temples that has its entrance facing west – the others face east. You’ll also visit Ta Prohm temple, where nature has taken over again and large trees are embedded in the stone foundations of the structure. Then there is Angkor Thom, the 'Great Royal City', a temple that is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Of all the temples visited, Bayon temple is the centrepiece, with over 200 smiling carved faces and more than 50 gothic towers. And the last stop is the Sunset at Bakheng Hill.

The Cambodian culinary experience can be fun, exotic and divers if you know where to go. Once there, an abundance of fresh spices and herbs light up the flavors of striking Cambodian dishes for meat lovers as well as vegetarians.
To enjoy the real Cambodian food scene in Siem Reap, some exploration is needed, because it is not easy to find for short term visitors. Therefore we propose to take you on a special ride that leads us out of the main tourist areas and into the real Khmer night life.
After your pick up at the hotel we meet in the main tourist area to show you briefly what you won’t be experiencing this evening, so that you can later on appreciate what is out there for those with a taste for adventure.
From the Pub Street comfort zone and after a refreshing Vespa ride, night has fallen and you will find yourself in the middle of the hustle and bustle of street vendors inviting you to taste a seemingly endless variety of unusual foods and fruits that offer a spectacular diversity of flavors and colors. Not all is for the fainthearted, but then of course you are not.
The next stop of the tour is at a typical local grill and drink stand where tasty snacks and drinks are served. When you look around you will see only local customers enjoying the great food that is freshly prepared right in front of your eyes.
Into the night you move to yet another part of Siem Reap town with numerous night spots that are frequented by local clientele. Our destination is a special restaurant that is hidden in plain sight between the bars and nightclubs. This restaurant boasts a local menu that stands out in quality and variety. A selection of their best specialties will be served, accompanied by drinks and local music performances.
Just when you think that this is the end of the tour you are again in for a refreshing after dinner ride on the way to the desert of the tour. Located
in again another part of town you will enter a typical Cambodian style house to be introduced to the magic art of rice wine infusion with special herbs and spices. You will taste these tropical concoctions, which will be complemented by a selection of local sweets.
